This recipe for Liver Brownies comes from Dr. Tracy Myers. She has 2 Brittanys and 3 Doberman Pinschers who really love this one!

First:
Preheat the oven to 300 deg and grease and flour a 9 by 13 pan

Dr. Myers has two Brittanys!

Mix the following together in a good heavy mixer in the order given.

  1. 1 1/2 lbs pureed liver - (Use a food processor or blender)
  2. 1 egg
  3. 3 cups flour
  4. 1 cup wheat germ - (look in the cereal dept.)
  5. 2/3 cup + a little more molasses
  6. 1 tsp garlic powder

Dr. Myers also has three Dobbies. All of her dogs love these brownies!

Bake for 30 - 40 minutes. Check after 30 minutes. Should look like real brownies. You may test with a toothpick.

Storage: This is moist and chewy, so store it in covered containers in the refrigerator, or in a storage bag in the freezer.
