Carlin is a Jack Russell Terrier!
Most Jack Russells descend from a single dog named Trump that was owned by a parson named John Russell. John Russell was a fox-hunting enthusiast who bred to develop a successful line of dogs to follow the fox in the 1800s.
This 14" bundle of energy needs an active family with a good sense of humor. It thrives on action and adventure. It is very playful and intelligent and gets along well with children.
This dog will do best with a lot of mental and physical stimulation - every day! It needs a home with a yard, however, it will dig and some have gotten themselves into trouble and needed to be dug out. The coat needs very little care.
