Old English Sheepdog

Old English SheepdogThe Old English Sheepdog was first developed in Great Britian to herd sheep. It has a spectacular thick, shaggy coat which will require a lot of grooming and is a thick-set, muscular dog with great symmetry and a distinctive rolling gait.

Its scores for training, aggression and desire to be handled are all slightly below medium.

This is a big dog. The average height at the front shoulders is 22-24 inches and the average weight is between 65 to 90 pounds.

If you are planning to add this dog to a smaller home or apartment, you will need to make arrangements for its exercise.
This dog needs plenty of exercise
to remain happy and healthy.
